Vanilla Buttercake


This cake is a perfect happy medium. It isn't as dense as a regular buttercake, but isn't too soft either. Super tasty!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup milk

Preparation

  1. Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. 
  2. Cream the butter and blend in the white sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. 
  3. Add dry mixture alternately with milk. 
  4. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown,
